“THE FATHER’S HEART”

Dear Joshua Family Subscribers:

The following video is an awesome depiction of the Father’s heart. May each one of us, as true believers and followers of Christ, learn more of what it means to genuinely care and to love others.

 It is the Love of God dwelling within, that makes it possible to reach out to that one who is hurting. Perhaps, it could be someone who may be right in front of you, or next to you. That one who is often overlooked, passed by, and forgotten.

 It is easy to love those who love you, excite you, make you feel good about yourself, or ‘wow you’ with the anointing in Church. That is just too easy to do, but is not what the Lord considers to be, the love of God in action. Even, those who do not know God can love those who make them feel good.

 But, what about the one who really needs to experience the Father’s love, and is hurting and desperate. And yet, so many are still ignored, day by day, and left to die on the cold and lonely side of the road of life, and may be hanging right on the very edge of eternity. What about them?

 To reach out to those would be the love of the Father in action through you. And it all starts by just reaching out, one by one.

 Luke 6:31-33, Do to others as you would have them do to you. 32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ do that. – (NIV)

 1 John 3:16-18, This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?

 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 19 This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence. – (NIV)

 1 John 4:7-11, Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. – (NIV)

 1 John 4:16-21, And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 17 In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.

 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 19 We love because he first loved us.

 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21 And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother. – (NIV)

 1 John 5:1-4, Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.

 3 This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. – (NIV)

 2 John 1:5-6, And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. 6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. – (NIV)

Please take the time to watch “The Nature of God” — Parts 1 & 2 — By Graham Cooke,  that i have posted on the  Joshua AP Featured Videos Page located  here .  I also, have these two videos posted on my Face Book profile page for our Face Book friends. :)

Just go to the page, and click on the videos to watch them. Just make sure that you are clicking on Part 1 first, because both videos have a very similar appearance.

 Then, after you have watched both of them, feel free to leave your comments  here on the Joshua AP Network Blog. It is very easy to leave comments here, and would be very much appreciated.

“PRAYER FOR GREAT BOLDNESS — WITH MIRACLES, SIGNS AND WONDERS”

…they raised their voices together in prayer to God. “Sovereign Lord,” they said, “you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them…26 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against his Anointed One. 27 Indeed Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed. 28 They did what your power and will had decided beforehand should happen.

29 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your Word with great boldness 30 Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” 31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the Word of God boldly. – Acts 4:24-31

“PRAYER FOR UNITY — IN THE BODY OF CHRIST– FOR THE LOCAL AND CORPORATE BODY.”

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a Spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, 6 so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 7 Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. – Romans 15:5-7

“PRAYER TO BE FILLED WITH JOY, PEACE AND HOPE”

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. – Romans 15:13

“PRAYER FOR ISRAEL — TO BE SAVED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST (YESHUA)”

Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. – Romans 10:1

“PRAYER TO BE ENRICHED, NOT LACKING ANY SPIRITUAL GIFT — BEING BLAMELESS ON THE DAY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.”

I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. 5 For in him you have been enriched in every way- in all your speaking and in all you knowledge– 6 because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you. 7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. 8 He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be bleameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. – 1 Cor. 1:4-8

“PRAYER FOR SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION — FOR THE DESTINY OF THE BODY OF CHRIST.”

…the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. 18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. – Ephesians 1:17-19

“PRAYER FOR STRENGTHENING — WITH HIS POWER IN YOUR INNER BEING”

…out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge–that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. – Eph. 3:16-19

“PRAYER FOR GOD’S LOVE TO ABOUND — WHICH RESULTS IN DISCERNMENT AND RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ–to the glory and praise of God. – Phil. 1:9-11

“PRAYER TO KNOW GOD’S WILL — TO LIVE A WORTHY LIFE, TO PRODUCE GOOD FRUIT — BEING STRENGTHENED IN HIS POWER”

…we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God. 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. – Col. 1:9-12

“PRAYER FOR APOSTOLIC RELEASE IN MINISTRY — AND TO ABOUND IN LOVE AND HOLINESS.”

How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you? 10 Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith…May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else…13 May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones. – 1 Thess. 3:9-13

“PRAYER TO BE COUNTED WORTHY AND TO FULFILL EVERY GOOD PURPOSE– THAT GOD MAY BE GLORIFIED”

With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of His calling, and that by His power He may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith. 12 We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. – 2 Thess. 1:11-12

“PRAYER FOR THE INCREASE OF WORD — STRENGTHENING AND PROTECTION FROM THE ENEMY WITH PERSEVERANCE.”

Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it was with you. 2 And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. 4 We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. 5 May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s Love and Christ’s perseverance. – 2 Thess. 3:1-5
