“THE CONQUEST”

~ By Bobby Conner

Eagles View Ministries

Arise from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you; rise to a new life! Shine! Be radiant with the glory of the Lord; for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you! For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness all peoples: but the Lord shall arise upon you, (O Jerusalem), and His glory shall be seen on you. (Isaiah 60:1-2) Amplified.

AWAKE – ARISE – ADVANCE

The command from heaven is extremely clear. As followers of Christ we are to: Arise!Advance! Our objective is taking the Kingdom of God forward. Every reservation and fear must be overcome. Standing strong in the knowledge of God’s will for our life we will tread down timidity.

The overwhelming knowledge of who Christ is in us and who we are in HIM will result in our becoming brave. God’s promise to Joshua is for us as well

- “Every place upon which the sole of your foot shall tread, that I have given to you, as I promised Moses. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.Be strong confident, and of good courage, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land, which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only you be strong, and very courageous (see Joshua 1:3-5-6). We will stand: confident and bold. We don’t need unfounded fleshly arrogance, but rather, steadfast, holy hearts totally trusting the Lord. It is the righteous that shall be bold as a lion (see Proverbs 28:1).

The conquest (the act of conquering) has commenced. This is neither warm-up nor scrimmage; this is the real thing. This is no time to hold back. Now is the time to give your all to the Kingdom of God. A swift shift is upon us; we are seeing a radical revolution.

Embrace the winds of change. They are blowing strongly all across the earth. Mere words will not suffice; we must have a true demonstration of God’s power. The cry of our heart is, “Lord, rend the heavens and come down” (see Isaiah 64:1). It’s time for action!

Arise; stir yourself to radically pursue your destiny. Your spiritual inheritance is too important to sit idle. It is essential that you arise with a deep-seated determination to take hold of God’s promises for your life. Access is provided to draw near to the King, thus releasing a  great acceleration of Kingdom purposes and power.

SUCH A TIME AS THIS

Not only has Almighty God called you and me to be brave and courageous, He has commissioned us for these important days. We need to be prepared for a conquest that brings about a swift and sure change. God’s plan for His people is the plan of victory, not defeat (Jeremiah 29:11).

We are called and commissioned to be overcomers. You are created to be victorious, not a victim. Just as Queen Esther, you are in the Kingdom for such a time as this (Esther 4:14)

OVERCOMERS

Deep within the soul of every true Christian beats the heart of an overcomer. The word overcomer suggests winning after a hard struggle. We are to be strong, willing warriors.

Remember, we are fighting from victory not for victory. Christ has won the victory. We merely move into what He has provided. Take a stand; become militant concerning the promises of God.

During these days is the time for the troops of the Lord to volunteer willingly (Psalms 110:3). We are to become history makers and world changers. God has determined the exact time of our birth.

Truly we are in the Kingdom for such a time as this. Consider the fact that you had absolutely nothing to do with the timing of your birth. It’s God’s plan. Looking forward to this day, He determined that you would be a great tool in His hands to fashion the Kingdom of God.

DAYS OF SALVATION

What a joy and privilege we have been given to live in these days of great harvest. Never has the world seen such a display of salvation.

The latest reports coming from China are that for over a decade now there is a huge revival taking place, and each hour 1200 come into the Kingdom of God. That is twenty-four hours a day, three hundred sixty-five days a year.

Can you imagine that over ten million souls a year are coming to faith in Christ in China? And this is just the start of worldwide evangelism.

There is a church in Africa that has over 1.7 million members and over 15,000 missionaries across the earth. In Africa a couple started with six dirty, little street children and, now, twelve years later they have over 6,000 churches and untold thousands of members.

The harvest fields are white and ready for the reaping. The harvest at the end of the age is quickly coming upon us. What we are seeing now is the harvest of the harvesters, the reaping of the reapers.

God has confidence in you. It is He working in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). We discover in Luke 12:32 the Father’s good pleasure is to give us the power of His Kingdom. These are decisive days of destiny. God is calling each of us to arise and take our stand for righteousness.

You are extremely unique. Over six billion people are alive on planet Earth, and guess what? Not a single person is like you. That is truly unique. The Father longs to anoint you and use you in an extraordinary way. Our goal must be to totally yield ourselves to Christ, seeking to walk in purity and power.

WORKS-NOT JUST WORDS

Our destiny is victory! We are called to triumph; to walk in victory, living in such a manner, doing everything with a true spirit of excellence for the sake of advancing the cause of Jesus Christ. True Christianity is more about what we do than what we say (1 Corinthians 4:20).

It’s time for action-not just mere words. Our walk will speak much louder than our talk. It will be a demonstration of Divine power that advances the Kingdom of God, not eloquent words (1 Corinthians 2:1-5).

The power of God’s Holy Spirit will anoint you to accomplish awesome signs and wonders for the glory of God and the advancing of the Kingdom of God.

THE SECRET TO TRUE BOLDNESS

An extremely wise man penned these thought-provoking words:

“The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are as bold as a lion.” (Proverbs 28; 1)

With this short but inspired phrase, we discover an exceptionally significant key: the righteous are bold as a lion. This key is an awesome asset, providing much-needed insight that will unlock the mystery of our weakness. Our lack of demonstrated power is a testimony to our carnality. We must walk in purity if we are to walk in real power.

The foremost reason for our lack of genuine power is due to our lack of genuine holiness. We can move forward with a repentant heart, seeking the Lord to extract from us everything that separates us from Him. Without question, our sin is the principal reason for our continual failure.

God’s warning is exceedingly clear: “Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy: without holiness no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14, NIV).

Don’t confuse holiness with man-made legalism. True holiness produces overflowing life and peace, while religious legalism produces only barrenness and death. Remember, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17).

The happiest people I know are the people who walk upright seeking to bring glory to God with every aspect of their lives. (See Colossians 1:9-10)

FLESH VERSUS SPIRIT

The body of Christ must discover and distinguish the immense difference between arrogance and genuine boldness; between being driven by our own ambitions and being led by God’s Spirit. If we continue to act upon our flesh-driven presumptions, failure is certain:

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death” (Proverbs 14: 12 NIV).

Our flesh fosters arrogance: a person’s own abilities and agenda. True boldness, however, is released from an encounter with the Holy Spirit. Scripture paints a picture for us: the righteous shall be as bold as a lion.

Before Simon Peter’s dynamic encounter with the Spirit of God on the day of Pentecost, he wilted under the accusations of a young, servant girl.

Without the power of God’s enabling grace, Peter denied the Lord three times. Yet once he was filled with the Holy Spirit’s power and boldness, we see a tremendous transformation in Peter’s life.

Standing in true authority, he preached one of the fieriest messages in scripture (Acts 2:16).

A wicked, religious spirit will always manifest itself by attempting to counterfeit the original. If this evil spirit cannot get into someone moving in pseudo self-confidence, it will cause the person to become weak and timid. It is high time we recognize the difference between timidity and humility, confidence and presumption.

BATTLING BEWITCHMENT

A cunning bewitchment is going on within the Body of Christ. Paul warned against this spirit when he wrote to the Galatians. This bewitching manifests itself and results in people attempting to fulfill in the flesh that which was begun by the Spirit of God (Galatians 3: 1-5).

It’s time to ask some hard questions: Are we being commissioned by God’sSpirit or have we birthed our own plans? The distinction can be recognized by success or failure. When one is sent by the Lord, He goes before the person to make a way.

However, if the person runs without being sent by God, the person is doomed to shame and failure. We must join with Moses, “O Lord, if your Presence does not go with us, please don’t let us take a single step” (Exodus 33:15).

Jesus is the perfect example of being sent by God. Jesus said, “I only do what I see my Father doing: I only say what I hear my Father saying.” It was the joy of His heart to do the Father’s will.

Jesus’ life of absolute obedience to the Father’s will must become our quest as well. It is the perfect syncopation; to seek the harmonizing of God’s will and our walk. This divine rhythm was reflected in Paul’s life when he said, “for me to live is Christ…” (Philippians 1:21).

Near the end of his journey, he added, “I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7, NASB).

How we start is very important, but how we finish is most important. The legacy we leave behind is a testimony of how effectively we have lived our lives for the purpose of God’s Kingdom.

As we read this, ask yourself: Are you running in your human zeal, or are you being carried by God’s power and might? Remember, “It’s not by human effort, but by His Spirit”  (Zechhariah 4: 6).

Have you become guilty of “walking in the light of your own fire” (Isaiah 50:11)? If so, it’s but a dim comparison to the blazing light of the Spirit of Truth.

Is it any wonder that you are stumbling in darkness? While on Earth, Jesus told the cold, legalistic religious leaders that they were the blind leading the blind; both they and their followers were destined to fall into a ditch.

Are you content to drink from your own hand-dug cisterns and forsake the fountain of living water (Jeremiah 2:13)? What a terrible exchange to settle for stale, stagnant, and polluted water instead of the refreshing fountains flowing from the Holy Spirit.

As never before we must walk in the light of God’s Word. Only there will we find true light for our darkened path (Psalms 119: 105, 130).

It is only in His light that we can see light (Psalms 36: 9).

Scripture reveals to us this precious promise: “For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness” (Psalms 18:28, KJV). He alone is the Source of true enlightenment.

The revelation of Christ the King and His Kingdom will become clearer and more concise as we set our hearts to become intimate with Him.

Going ever deeper into the ways of the Spirit, we will grow in our knowledge of Christ and His Kingdom. Deep is calling unto deep; God has been releasing to us a desire to go higher and deeper than we have ever been.

PURITY PRODUCES POWER AND BOLDNESS

Let these words resound in your spirit: “…the righteous are bold as a lion…” (Proverbs 28:1),  asking the Holy Spirit to reveal its meaning.

Our heart’s desire is that God’s Spirit will launch us further into a consuming passion to walk with greater purity. Such fervor will result in real Holy Spirit-produced power. This alone is the key to walking in sustained supernatural power.

A PEOPLE OF EXTREME BURNING PASSION

The Spirit of Truth will open our eyes to behold deeper truths hidden in scripture (Matthew 13:16-17). These divine truths will inflame our hearts, igniting within us an extreme burning passion for God’s glory and for the advancing of His Kingdom.

God’s Spirit is helping us to come to grips with the vast difference between human arrogance and Holy Spirit boldness. Spiritual boldness does not describe many in the Church today. We have grown too accustomed to slick, self-promotion; Madison Avenue-type leadership who advance their own personal agendas.

Without a doubt, this is one reason we are walking in so little Holy Spirit power. It is the Kingdom of God we must seek to establish, not our own ideas.

Our heart’s cry must be like David’s: “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me” (Psalms 51: 9-10, KJV). May our hearts echo this passage:

“Let Your work appear to Your servants,

And Your glory to their children.

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us,

And establish the work of our hands for us,

Yes, establish the work of our hands.” (Psalms 90: 16-17)

PURITY – PATHWAY TO POWER

Holiness is not optional; it is essential to the Lord’s abiding and powerful presence in our lives (Hebrews 12:14). The Lord is looking for a people He can promote, show Himself strong, and fully support everything they put their hands to do (2 Chronicles 16:9).

Joshua reminded God’s people continually to be bold, brave, and courageous. When I questioned the Lord, “Why do You have to keep reminding us to be bold?” He answered, “Because you’re not!”

Our timidity is related to the fact that we are living impurely. With purity comes the Lord’s presence. And where His anointing rests, there will be divine power. In the life of Jesus, we can see that God’s Kingdom was revealed in power, not merely in words (Luke 10:19).

We are instructed to boldly contend for the faith (Jude 3). If we are not daily contending and defending our faith, then we are merely pretenders going through the motion.

If our walk does not back up our talk, then we are speaking hollow, lifeless words. In fact, we are an embarrassment to the Body of Christ.

But if we are walking in the light of God’s Word, we will have a divine confidence. This confidence comes when we are walking in integrity and purity of heart.

Anointing, without moral and righteous character, will always result in shame. The Spirit of God is forging our character-not just releasing gifting.

Scripture tells us that the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and the violent take it (the Kingdom) by force. We are not speaking about violence with guns or knives, but rather the true weapons of warfare: fasting, praying, and holy living. Paul stated that the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4-6).

God’s ultimate goal for each of us is our possessing and manifesting true Christ-like character and virtues. These graces are fundamental if we are to be a bright, shining light…a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden.

Scripture declares that the righteous shall be as bold as a lion. True boldness stems from a steadfast, upright heart. Our life must be a fountain, filled and overflowing with the fruit of God’s Spirit (Galatians 5:22-26).

These fruits flourish best in the soil of love and loyalty. Jesus stated, “By this shall all men truly know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35).

Many Blessings,

DECREE YOUR TRANSFORMATION!

~ by John Mark Pool

Word To The World

“You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways.” Job 22:28 NASB. Emphasis Added.

God is creative and expects His creation to be the same! Jesus said that we should be doing greater works than were done when He was upon earth! God is proactive and not reactive! God is creative. When God decreed words, things immediately changed!

“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” Romans 4:17 KJV. Emphasis added.

“OUR TRANSFORMATION IS IN OUR ABILITY TO HAVE FAITH IN GOD AND SIMPLY TAKE HIM AT HIS WORD!”

One time while staying at a pastor friend’s home, the weatherman came on the TV and said to take cover a tornado was heading right at our location! I was very nervous at the apparent lack of concern on my friend’s countenance.

I ask him if I could grab a mattress and head to the inner bathroom? He replied, “Follow me to the front porch!” I was exasperated as we stepped outside to the fury of a major storm on its way at us.

He looked up at the storm, lifted his right hand up and pointed his finger at the wind and loudly decreed it to leave us alone and be gone in the name of Jesus!”

Having never confronted a Texas tornado in such a way still did not feel as comfortable as this elder pastor! I asked him for a mattress and the use of his inner bathroom. He laughed at me and went directly back to watching his TV program!

The news came on and said the twister had destroyed the neighborhood just beyond his! Wow! I thought this worked. This pastor has enough faith in God and experience decreeing things that be not as though they were that he simply walked out and calmly turned the storm away from his home saving us all! That has never left my memoirs of invaluable faith-in-action experiences.

We have the same authority, yet how many of us will allow our physical and spiritual circumstances to control us? If the Word of God is true and we have simple faith to believe and not doubt, then we should be able to change our environment!

Prophesy your destiny into existence! Decree your environment both physical and spiritual to change and experience of a lifetime in your year of transformations! It was no time to start building my faith up in God when the tornado was nearing my friend’s front yard.

It must be a daily building ourselves up in the most holy faith. Then when the storms come— and they will come— simply act upon your God-given authority through His word and Decree Your Transformations!

RUN LIKE HORSES AND SOAR LIKE EAGLES

“RUN LIKE HORSES AND SOAR LIKE EAGLES”

~ L.D. Oxford

Joshua-ap.net

There are many that have been held back with spiritual bondages, emotional and physical restraints, who are going to begin to run like horses and to soar like eagles for the Lord this year.

The Lord is opening up destiny doors, aligning key relationships and the Kingdom finances that He has been preparing you for…You will go on to higher heights and deeper depths in Him during this season.

It’s time to usher in the Kingdom, people of God. It’s time for you to know and to realize your true identity in Christ, then to walk in it like never before. Push back the intimidation, fear of people, and begin to enter into that greater authority that the Lord has given you to walk in.

The Lord is destroying the old mind-sets of religious thinking, and as you press in to his Word and into His Love, the barriers, strongholds, chains and limitations will suddenly come off of you.

God is now positioning you and setting you up for divine success. He is working through your circumstances to position you strategically for what He has in store, during the coming weeks and months of this year.

So, hold up that shield of faith and quench those fiery darts of the enemy. Take the sword of the Spirit and cut off the assignments of the enemy that have been sent against you.

Resist that spirit of unbelief and speak out of your mouth, to decree those things that the Lord has promised unto you, and you shall see the fulfillment come. Believe it, Decree it, and you shall surely see those things come to pass. Amen! … and so be it.

Isa 40:29-31, He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

1Co 9:24-27, Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Heb 12:1-2, Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Eph 6:13-20, Wherefore, take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith, ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto, with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak….

Note: This is an important video for all to watch, however, avoid the U-tube forum comments below the video, because it is polluted with unmoderated comments and undesirable language on some of the postings there. “So don’t go to the forum part, ok?”

I just felt that you all needed to see the video ….but not the forum comments. A ministry friend sent the video link to me, but probably did not realize the comments below the video. It is a secular website, so
just consider the source, and don’t be offended, when i already warned you not to read the forum.

The video is very informative on some things that are already in progress, or getting ready to take place in our nation, unless God’s people take a stand for righteousness and uphold the standard of the Word of Truth. It is very insightful and well worth viewing. ~ L.D.

A PROPHETIC APPEAL FOR INTERCESSION

“A PROPHETIC APPEAL FOR INTERCESSION”

~ By Jim Goll

Encounters Network

“The great serpent has coiled himself around the globe, and who shall set the world free from him?” This was the message from the great British “prince of preachers,” Charles Spurgeon. If the serpent had a strong grip in Spurgeon’s day, what can be said about our own?

After years of observing the ravages of the serpent’s hold, it is time for a company of anointed prophetic intercessors to come forth and lay hold of God’s promises for our generation.

A WIDOW CALLED ANNA

One of the most significant yet hidden vessels of the New Testament is the prophetess Anna. After seven years of married life, she was suddenly widowed. We do not know how she lost her husband, if she had children or whether she was left all alone.

All we are told is that this sacrificial woman, now age 84, extravagantly devoted the rest of her years to the ministry of prayer and fasting, waiting in the Temple for the coming of the Messiah. There was a prophetess, Anna the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was advanced in years, having lived with a husband seven years after her marriage, and then as a widow to the age of eighty-four. And she never left the temple, serving night and day with fastings and prayers. Luke 2:36–37

We do not know the age at which Anna married. In all likelihood she was young, possibly seventeen or even younger. If so, she was widowed by age 24 and then devoted the next sixty years of her life to priestly intercession.

In the event that she married a little later in life than was normal for her culture, let’s say at 37, then she was widowed at 44 and had spent forty years waiting on God. Or say she got married late in life, at 67.

By the time her husband departed, she was the ripe old age of 74. That would mean she had spent ten years in the Temple.

Whew! Whether it was ten years or forty or sixty, she had been at the Temple for a long time, never leaving but crying out to the Lord day and night with prayer and fasting. Anna must have been consumed with a burning passion sustained those many long years in what some would consider a state of inactivity.

Like you, I have seen numerous prayer ministries start but few continue. It takes a prophetic vision to continue such a ministry long term. You need a clear revelation of your target, purpose and goal. Prayer ministries that endure over a period of years, I have found, are those that operate from a context of inspiration.

But what inspires them? Burdens and crises come and go. What motivates intercessors or intercessory groups over the long haul? Only one thing.

Like the praying prophetess Anna—and like David, the shepherd-king—we must have a consuming vision of the One we serve. First and foremost we need a vision of our Lord Himself. After all, He is the goal and prize of life.

WHAT WAS HER PROPHETIC MINISTRY?

In what way can Anna be considered a prophetess? The Scripture does not tell us that she wore a coat of camel’s hair or ate locusts and wild honey.I doubt that she pointed a long, snarling finger at people and said brazenly, “Thus saith the Lord!” revealing the secret sins of their hearts.

We have no clue that she ever confronted the prophets of Baal like Elijah of old or called down fire from heaven. In fact, we find not even one recorded prophecy from this devout woman.

If she did not give personal prophetic words, then what was her prophetic ministry? She was a woman of the secret place, not with a public ministry at all but interceding in keeping with the purposes of God for her generation.

The expression of her prophetic ministry was her enduring intercession. She was a prophetic, intercessory Jesus fanatic!

When Joseph and Mary brought eight-day-old Jesus to the Temple to present Him to the Lord, At that very moment [Anna] came up and began giving thanks to God, and continued to speak of Him to all those who were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.

Luke 2:38

Undoubtedly Anna’s intercessory burden had included searching through the prophetic promises that had not yet been fulfilled. This verse in Luke tells us that she “continued to speak of [Jesus] to all those who were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.”

You see, Anna was looking for a Deliverer, the Messiah, the hope of Israel.  She was one of a special task force of prophetic intercessors whom God had ordained for that generation. They were the ones who were listening and watching for the Lord’s appearing.

Like Joshua they were waiting at the doorway of the tent of meeting in hopes that they would be the first to see the shining forth of the Lord’s great presence. Anna was doubtless praying through those beloved prophetic promises of a coming Messiah.

WANTED: A BUNCH OF HOLY GHOST P.U.S.H.ers!

The Lord is searching for an “Anna Company” in our day, intercessors who will pray through the promises of the Second Coming of our lovely Lord and Messiah. Who will pave the way for the coming of the Lord?New recruits are wanted and the Holy Spirit is sending out invitations today. Have you signed and returned yours?

To be part of this prophetic, intercessory “Anna Company,” all you need is an ever-growing conviction of the purposes of God and a desire to pray through God’s promises until you see them fulfilled.

THESE REVELATORY WARRIORS KNOW HOW TO P.U.S.H.

(PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS!)

In our day and time the Holy Spirit is drawing together a people who will stand united in a congregation, city or region. God is wooing ones and twos to find one another as covenant prayer partners. He is summoning the leaders in an area to stand together and fight. He is calling all of us in His Body to join hands and collectively take our places until the promises of a great, end-time visitation for our generation have come to pass.

Let us arise, O Church, put off our slumber and cry out until our eyes, like Anna’s two thousand years ago, behold Christ. It is time for a bunch of Holy Ghost P.U.S.H.ers to show up on the scene.

A PROPHETIC APPEAL FOR INTERCESSION

Some years ago I took a train from Heidelberg to Rosenheim, Germany—a six-hour excursion in the middle of the night. While attempting to rest on the train, I kept hearing the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit within.I know He was talking to me as an individual, but He was also imparting a burden for a many-membered band of people to come forth. Here is what I heard that dear Dove convictingly speak:

Where are My Daniels? Where are My Esthers? Where are My Deborahs?

And where are My Josephs?

REPEATEDLY I HEARD HIS PIERCING, RELENTLESS PLEA:

Where are My Daniels? Where are My Esthers? Where are My Deborahs?

And where are My Josephs?Who will answer the call? I answered His call that night on that historic train ride across Germany. Will you join me in making history?

Remember, ours is the right to make history before the throne of the Almighty. Ready to answer the call?

WE ARE IN CRISIS

The Church and the nation are in a crisis! In no uncertain terms, the elections of 2006 showed us that there is no clear moral foundation upon which the nation votes. In this present historic moment, the Church was paralyzed.
Tens-of-thousands stayed home and could not vote as if they were drunk with disillusionment. Only one week before the elections, a major Christian leader was exposed in immorality.
Before that, a high-ranking Republican Representative was exposed. After considering these scandals, the ongoing exposures of these Christian leaders, and seeing the outcome of the elections, I felt God shouting that the Church is in danger of losing its moral authority to turn a nation.
“Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord…he who has clean hands and a pure heart,” Psalm 24:3-4.
The hill of Lord is the place of the throne, and the place of spiritual authority. Only those who have clean hands and a pure heart can stand on that hill and exercise that authority.
He is sifting the Republican Party for its refusal to stand for moral principle and for playing political games with its constituents, who in 2004, voted on moral issues.
One of our young women in the Justice House of Prayer in Washington, D.C., had a dream on November 4, 2006, the Sunday before the elections: I was at the house on the farm and made a kind of agreement with a man who was the head of the GOP.
In my dream, this GOP man broke the agreement. I went and confronted him, and he got in my face and started yelling at me. He then backed up and I pointed at him and said, “Our God is neither Republican nor Democrat, He will only honor those who are morally righteous and just.” He left, slamming the door.
God has a word to say to the Republican Party: “Line up with moral issues–Marriage Amendment and Abortion–and show compassion to the poor and the oppressed–show Justice–or I will remove your lamp stand.” This is precisely what happened to the Whig party in the United States.
The issue of slavery divided the party and its anti-slavery constituents formed the anti-slavery Republican Party out of which Abraham Lincoln was elected. The Whig party was no more! If the Churches vote radically PRO-life, then any political party, REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT–could be no more.
AN AWAKENING TO THE CHURCH
But the Voice of God is shouting even louder to the Church! Revelation 2:18-23 and 26 says, “And to the angel of the Church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:
“I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
And I gave her time to repent of her immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.
I will kill her children with death, and all the Churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.”
Verse 26, “And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations” (emphasis added). It is only when the Church is found faithful in moral purity to her bridegroom, God, that she can gain spiritual authority over nations.
In a season of personal temptation, when God was searching my own heart and mind for inward toleration of Jezebel’s influence, and during the time of Bill Clinton’s moral failure, I received a dream from God.
In this dream, a pastor I know was a high-ranking senator. He had gathered major governmental leaders together to deliver a message. Bill Clinton was in the meeting but was sleeping in bed.
I was in the meeting but was clothed only in my underwear and I was lying in the same bed as Bill Clinton. The pastor’s message was weak and carried no authority. Then he asked me to pray for Bill Clinton, who was still asleep.
I prayed a pitiful token prayer and then suddenly threw off the covers and ran to get clothed. I awoke from the dream in shock! The Holy Spirit spoke clearly to my heart, saying, “Neither you nor the Church of America has any power to awaken this nation or Bill Clinton because it sleeps in the same bed!”
The dream and the Scripture confirm each other. The Church cannot bind the spirit of Jezebel dominating the nation if the spirit of Jezebel binds the Church.
Only to those who have overcome this spirit, the Scripture says, will be given authority over the nations. This truth makes the present moment with fallen leaders more profound and pronounced.
I am not pointing the finger at a fallen brother. I mourn for any of them and for my generation that has been assaulted with the spirit of Jezebel and lives under the shame of their bondage, which defiles imaginations and causes nightmarish inward moral battles.
Maybe all our leaders who have fallen are a sign and a symbol of the whole Church of the nation. From the head to the feet we are sick, bruised, and beaten up, and we are being exposed publicly.
Hosea 2:10 says, “Now I will uncover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers…” We are like eunuchs in Jezebel’s palace whimpering our prayers, and even with our great churches and powerful spiritual programs, the nation remains unchanged.
More than all this, we have crushed the Lord’s heart with our spiritual adultery, we have left our first Love, and have gone after our Baals as in the time of Jezebel. But I believe that God wants to allure us into the wilderness and speak tenderly to us and make this Valley of Achor (the place of exposure of hidden sin) a door of hope.
“In that day…you will call Me ‘My Husband,’ and no longer call Me, ‘My Master’” (see Hosea 2:14-16).
I believe that in this moment in time, if we respond in repentance, we could release the greatest revival of confession of sin and a cleansing by the blood of Jesus that could draw us back into marital faithfulness with our Bridegroom, God.
I believe a great spiritual awakening could be at hand which could even affect the elections of 2008 and overthrow Jezebel’s death-march in this nation.
GOD’S HOLY PRESCRIPTION — FASTING AND PRAYER
What must we do? God’s holy prescription for our diseased state in times of national crisis and moral collapse is in Joel 2, verses 12-13, 15-16, 18 & 28, which is a solemn assembly of untied fasting and prayer:
“Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm.
Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly; Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children and nursing babes; let the bridegroom go out from His chamber, and the bride from her dressing room.
Then the Lord will be zealous for His land…And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
Seven years ago, we called for a massive Joel 2 gathering of fasting and prayer in Washington, D.C. It was named, “The Call,” and between 300,000 to 400,000 young men and women with parents and leaders gathered together…not for a feast, nor a festival, but to a fast, believing that God would respond and show mercy to our nation.
Seven “Calls” took place, the final being in the Cotton Bowl in November of 2003. We believe God is still answering those prayers. At that time, a prophet gave me a word that, “The Call” would die, but in three years, a crisis would come and then it would be resurrected.
Three years have passed since that word; the time is now, and the Church and America are in crisis. God is blowing the Joel 2 trumpet again–on 07-07-07, The Call Nashville!
THE CALL NASHVILLE!
In 1993, Bob Jones prophesied, “The Houston Oilers would move to Nashville, and Nashville would build God a stadium. And 100,000 people, particularly youth, would gather for a great mobilization of the army of God.”
With this prophecy in effect, I was praying about holding The Call in Titan Stadium in Nashville on 07-07-07. While in a prophets gathering, I received a profound confirmation.
Sharon Stone, a prophetic voice from England, who knew nothing that was on my heart, stood and began to speak forth this word over me, “There is coming a fresh recruitment on 07-07-07.
I heard the day very clearly, and on that day, a stand will be taken, and it will bring forth a great shift.” Could it be that The Call in Nashville is that day of recruitment and that day of shifting? Yet, I still needed more confirmation.
Then a few days later, I received a phone call from a woman I had only met one time. She said, “I have written you a check.
What are you doing?” I told her about The Call Nashville, and to my amazement she said, “The check is for 100,000 dollars.”
She had no idea that the first Call was launched by another woman that I did not know, who gave me 100,000 dollars as well. I experienced the Divine endorsement of God pour over me just as it did seven years before, and I knew this wasn’t my Call, it was God’s Call, and it was time to blow the trumpet again.
If Heaven is releasing, “The Call” again, then there is still hope for America, for that is the very reason a solemn assembly is called. In times of crisis, when there is no hope and no remedy, God says, “Blow the trumpet in Zion, and call a fast.
PREVIOUS HISTORICAL GATHERING
In 1967, 100,000 young people, ages 15-25, flocked to San Francisco to experience the hippie movement. This mass convergence was sparked by the hit song in San Francisco called, “Wear a Flower in Your Hair.”
Once there, they experimented with LSD, pot, immorality, and Eastern mysticism, in what became known as the “Summer of Love.” When these newly recruited, “Flower Children,” returned home at the end of summer, they brought with them new styles and ideas, flooding the cities of the U.S. and Europe with a message that opposed authority and scorned conservative morals.
This counterculture rebellion was fueled by music and art, and it rapidly shifted global culture. A great divorce from God and His ways of kindness occurred in this turbulent time, and the effects of the, “Summer of Love,” are still with us today. The Church is obviously saturated with those effects.
RENEWING OUR VOWS TO THE LORD
On the 40th-year anniversary of the “Summer of Love” that occurred in 1967 (really a summer of divorce), we are calling multi-generations to Nashville, Tennessee. We are calling you on 07-07-07–the number of covenant renewal, marriage, and the fullness of time–for a day of national repentance, fasting, and prayer for our 40-year generational rebellion.
We are calling elders, pastors, mothers, fathers, college students, children, every race, every denomination, and every age to come and divorce Baal, and remarry the Lord.
The book of Hosea is clear–God uses wedding vows as a symbol of renewing covenant with His people. Hosea 2:19, says, “I will betroth you to Me forever, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness.” We are coming to renew our vows.
We will cry out to God for a release of Song of Solomon 8:6-7 (paraphrased), “Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm, for love is as strong as death, the vehement flame of God, as unrelenting as Sheol, loves flames are fiery flames, the fiercest of all, many waters cannot extinguish love, and rivers cannot sweep it away.”
Our only hope for an idolatrous people is the fiery love of God that is stronger than the passions of this world. We have got to get an awakening that is stronger than the hellish addictions of our culture. Oh God, marry us again!!!
Newspapers and websites across America are saying that on 07-07-07, more marriages are occurring then ever in history. Wedding Chapels and churches are booked across the land. But could we be in a time, a Joel 2 time, where our marriage to Jesus is of higher priority than our natural marriages?
What if God would really test us on the urgency of this hour, and in particular the Biblical Joel 2 mandate? Let the Bridegroom come out of His chamber and the bride out of her dressing room (see Joel 2).
We have received the following report that a pastor said to a couple, “I cannot marry you on 07-07-07, even though the day is set. I must go to Nashville on 07-07-07–it is the highest priority.”
The couple was understandably upset by the decision of the pastor, but the following week a special guest speaker spoke on Joel 2 at the Church declaring, “Let the Bridegroom come out of His chamber…” With tender hearts toward God, the couple publicly asked forgiveness for their response to the pastor and said, “We are going to Nashville and will postpone our marriage.”
We are receiving many reports now of couples changing their marriage dates because they have heard, The Call. I believe that pastors must make hard decisions, for it was the priests who were to weep between the porch and the altar, crying out, “Spare your people, Oh God.” Also, the elders have been affected with internet immorality and compromise.
We must gather and bear the reproach before the Lord. Who knows, He may turn and pour out His Spirit as promised in Joel 2:28, “And afterward I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh…”
THE NUMBER 40 IS SIGNIFICANT
Recently while in Nashville, my friend and godly statesman, Don Finto, spoke a word to me that lit my fires of faith. He said, “I have a 1971 Time Magazine article that states three times, that the Jesus Movement began in 1967, and that Jerusalem was taken back by Israel in 1967.”
After a 40-year judgment, could we be in a season in which a great spiritual awakening could occur in America, and the Jewish people would return to Yeshua? God administrates His Kingdom through prophetic time periods, and the period of 40 years is one of the most significant.
When Jesus fasted 40 days, He was tempted in the wilderness just as Israel was tested in the wilderness for 40 years. Jesus confronted the temptations of satan, quoting the very Scriptures in Deuteronomy that pertained to the 40-year failure of a past generation.
In Ezekiel 4, Ezekiel is given a prophetic prayer assignment; He is told to bear the iniquity of the house of Judah for 40 days, a day for each year of their iniquity (verse 6).
Here again, we see an intercessor bearing the 40-year failure of a past generation in a 40-day prayer assignment. I believe now, with all of my heart, God is calling us to fast and pray for 40 days–from May 29 to 07-07-07, and bear in intercession the 40-year failure of the 60’s generation, and then gather on 07-07-07 to call on God for the promised rains of revival.
Hosea 2:16, 21-23, “‘And it shall be, in that day,’ says the Lord, ‘that you will call Me ‘My Husband,’ and no longer call you my Baal. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will answer, I will answer the Heavens and they shall answer the earth, the earth shall answer with grain, with new wine, and with oil, and I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy.
Then I will say to those who were not My people, you are My people, and they shall say you are my God.” Let a great Jesus movement come forth in America, and out of Nashville may music come forth that will reap the harvest and carry revival more powerfully than the Beatles carried the rebellion.
If the Church repents in Nashville, the culture could be transformed in San Francisco. Nashville is the gateway to the Church, and San Francisco is the gateway to the culture. The trumpet is clear and the nation is summoned, from the pastors to the bridal chamber, and from the elders to the little children.
Forty days of fasting, prayer, media turn-off, and intimacy with God–May 29th to 07-07-07 to return to the Lord. A Joel 2 solemn assembly. A day to take a stand and to shape history.
May those hearts who are stirred, come and return to the Lord.

“And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:15

“SPIRITUAL FORCES AGAINST US”

We can count on the fact that there are unseen evil forces that have been assigned to kill, steal, and destroy everything good in our lives.

The Bible clearly teaches that these devilish forces band together to commit acts of aggression against the saints–and that includes you and me!

This truth is quite evident in Scripture, for Paul wrote many verses about spiritual weapons, spiritual armor, and how we are to resist these unseen, demonic forces. Yet it is very important that we approach this subject with the right attitude!

Because of Jesus’ death on the Cross and His resurrection from the dead, the forces of hell are already defeated. However, even though they have been legally stripped of their authority and power, they continue to roam around this earth, carrying out evil deeds like criminals, bandits, hooligans, and thugs.

And just like criminals who refuse to submit to the law, these evil spirits will continue to operate in this world until some believer uses his God-given authority to enforce their defeat!

We need to get a hold of this truth: These demonic forces are legally stripped of their authority and are defeated! We are not puny, struggling believers who are somehow trying to learn how to cope with the devil’s attacks against us.

We’re not merely trying to learn how to scrape by or survive. Jesus’ death and resurrection gave us the legal authority to keep satan under our feet, so we must always make sure we approach spiritual warfare as victors and not victims.

Let’s look at Colossians 2:15 to gain a greater revelation of the victory Jesus has already accomplished for you and me through His death, burial, and resurrection.

Paul tells us that Jesus “made a shew of them openly.” The word “openly” is taken from the word parresia, a word that is used throughout the books of the New Testament to denote boldness or confidence.

“OUR VICTORY IS NO QUIET AFFAIR”

“Jesus took the enemy apart piece-by-piece as He thoroughly spoiled principalities and powers.”

By using the word parresia, Paul declares that when Jesus was finishing His dealings with satan, His victory over the devil was no “quiet affair.”

Quite the contrary! Jesus boldly, confidently, and loudly exposed and displayed this now-defunct foe to Heaven’s hosts. Make no mistake!

When Jesus “made a shew of them openly,” it was quite a spectacular show!

The verse continues, “He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” The word “triumph” is taken from the Greek word triambeuo, which is a technical word used to describe a general or an emperor returning home from a grand victory in the enemy’s territory.

Specifically, the word “triumph” was used to describe the emperor’s triumphal parade when he returned home.

When a returning emperor or general came striding through the gates on his big, powerful, and beautiful horse, he was accompanied by his fellow victorious warriors, who also appeared glorious after their triumphant battle. As the parade followed, the weaponry and treasures seized from the enemy’s territory were grandly displayed for all to see.

The grand finale to this triumphal procession was the foreign ruler himself. This ruler had been beaten and bound in chains and was now being forced to walk in disgrace, shame, dishonor, embarrassment, and humiliation as crowds of people came to celebrate his defeat and to get a “peek” at a once-powerful but now totally defeated opponent.

So when Colossians 2:15 declares that Jesus triumphed over evil powers, it is explicitly declaring that Jesus took the enemy apart piece-by-piece as He thoroughly “spoiled principalities and powers.”

When Jesus was finished with those demonic forces, they were utterly plundered– “stripped to bare nakedness” and left with nothing in hand to retaliate!

Because of the words parresia and triumbeuo, Colossians 2:15 conveys this idea:

“He gallantly strode into Heaven to celebrate His victory and the defeat of satan and his forces. As part of His triumphal process, He flaunted the spoils seized from the hand of the enemy.

Yet the greatest spectacle of all occurred when the enemy himself was openly put on display as bound, disgraced, disabled, defeated, humiliated, and stripped bare.”

Jesus’ victory over satan was a momentous affair! When Jesus returned, He was totally triumphant! The party Heaven threw that day was enormous! All of Heaven’s hosts came to celebrate Jesus’ victory and satan’s downfall and demise!

Right there in front of everyone, Jesus displayed the devil and his cohorts, so all could know that this enemy no longer had the legitimate right or the necessary arms to prolong his rule of terrorism.

“YOU ARE A VICTOR”

Once again, satan is not a force we are trying to defeat; he is already defeated. But because very few believers know how to effectively use their God-given authority to resist satan, he tries to continue illegally operating, and doing damage to the souls of men and even to the creation itself.

No matter what demonic strategy may come against you this day or how many demons are assembled together for your destruction, you never have to go down defeated. Jesus plundered the enemy when He rose from the dead.

So when you look into the mirror, you need to learn to see yourself as one who already has the victory. You already possess the authority necessary to keep satan under your feet where he belongs.

Remember, you are no longer a victim–you are a victor!
